Selfie ready skin in 5 foundations

The never ending journey of finding a foundation is one most women endure – skin changes, things get discontinued or sometimes you just want to try something different. With so many variations to choose from we’ve narrowed it down and picked 5 of our favourites available now.

Kat Von D ‘Lock-It’ liquid foundation

If you are looking for a foundation that keeps you matte and lasts all damn day, this is the one for you. Personally, I would say this formula would suit more oily/combination skin as it is on the drying side and once this baby is on, it WILL NOT MOVE. Full coverage with lightweight feel, this highly pigmented formula creates a smooth canvas, covers blemishes and is fade and transfer free. Who needs touch-ups anyway?!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Foundation

Developed specifically for Film and TV’s most advanced technology, the Ultra HD Foundation gives you a naturally flawless complexion to get you camera ready. Medium to buildable coverage, lightweight and leaves you with skin that actually looks like skin, YES PLEASE!

Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation

If you love full coverage skin but also love that dewy look, this will definitely be the answer you’re looking for. This foundation conceals any marks or redness, leaves skin hydrated, firms and tightens. Thank you Charlotte!

Tarte – Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation

A highly concentrated, full coverage formula that features 20 percent water to help hydrate dry skin whilst covering uneven skin tone and giving you that airbrushed look. This foundation was soooo good, I went back the following week and got another bottle.

Cover FX Natural Finish Oil-Free Foundation

A water based liquid foundation that provides a hydrating, sheer to full coverage soft finish on the skin – perfect for combination skin. This product was easy to blend, long lasting and isn’t too matte or too moist. Vegan, non-comedogenic, paraben, fragrance, gluten, mineral oil and talc free. Pure goodness in a tube!
